Max: a larger allowance
Choose 5x or 20x based on the same workflow's observed limits. A larger allowance does not remove weekly or model limits.
API: separate billing
Console/API credentials use token billing. Extra usage or API fallback can add charges beyond the subscription.

Yes. Pro includes Claude Code, sharing its usage allowance with Claude chat.
Does Cursor Pro include Claude Code?
Cursor's Claude model access does not grant a Claude Pro or Max subscription. The Claude Code IDE extension can run in Cursor when signed in with an eligible Claude account.
Is Claude Code unlimited on Max?
No. Max increases the Pro per-session allowance; weekly and other limits can still apply.
